Internship information
The MB Design Internship program is broken down into three areas: Sales, Web Design, and Social Media. While all programs do have different work involved with them, both sales and web design interns will work closely with each other. Below is a .pdf link to our internship playbook which includes information for our new interns. Our playbook includes the internship schedule as well as the initial consult guide for the sales inters and the site build form for our web interns.
Sales Interns
At MB Design, our Sales Internship is a great way for anyone looking to pursue a career in sales to get some great experience while also having a chance to make some good relationships for the future, as well as having a chance to make some real money.
Our Sales Interns may assist the Manager and senior staff by performing administrative and entry-level duties while they gain experience. Our Sales Interns will conduct research, make calls and send emails, update records, attend meetings, and help maintain client relationships, among other tasks.
Web Interns
When it comes to Web Development the MB Design team looks to build the very best for our clients which means we need interns that strive for the same excellence we look to provide for all of our clients.
As our Web Development Intern you will work primarily in the Wix platform. You will learn all of the ins and outs of the program and be able to apply your creative touch to each project given to you. This will be a project based role meaning we will not monitor your hours worked but simply give you a project with the expectations that you will finish that before the deadline. We will give you a crash course on how to use Wix and our other platforms and make sure you are comfortable before projects are sent to you. Once you begin taking on project we will, at minimum, have a call once a week with you to stay informed and up to date with progress.
In this internship role you will be given the opportunity to learn and work on one of the largest site building platforms in the world. You will also get direct feedback from the owners and work side by side with them on very large projects. Not only that, you will be given the freedom to use your creativity and ideas in designing sites for our clients.
Social Media Interns
With the rise in social media MB Design realizes the importance of having people around that can build strong social media content to push our business further as well as building content to aid our clients in building and growing their businesses.
As our Social Media Intern we expect our values and vision to be portrayed through all of our platforms. Your responsibilities will include the following:

manage all social media platforms

consistently posting content 3 to 4 times per week

potentially creating sales leads by engaging with followers
The ultimate goal is to grow our followers and provide them with a flow of consistent and pertinent content. This will include a mix of content from product updates to event details.
